So last years OP: Chill & Grill was a success. There were only about 15+ people there but we got a lot accomplished, gun repair wise. I know I had fun so lets see what happens this year shall we? That is IF we all survive the end of the world...
Date: January 12th 2013 (Date subject to change due to bad weather)
Time: Starts at 11AM and goes until everyone decides to leave.
Location: 4110 W. Woodyard Road Bloomington IN 47404 My Grandma's garage, has wood stove. (Near the Circus, same place as last year.)
Cost: Free. Bring food you wish to have cooked by Vacceo. Bring other food items such as sides, condiments, drinks etc...
Purpose:
For those of you needing to fix broken weapons, work on a project gun, or down grade your new presents from Santa so they shoot under a desired FPS, this event is for you. The purpose of this event is to learn how to fix or repair your weapons. There will be experienced gun techs there to help you, but you will be doing the repairs yourself. You can work on props you want to use for your future games. Show up just to help others fix their weapons. You can also bring family, friends, wives/husbands, girlfriends/boyfriends and just come to hang out and eat food if you do not need to fix a weapon.
I think this is pretty self explanatory but just a few reminders:
-You will be working on your own weapons
-You will need to bring any and all tools with you to work on your weapons
-You need to bring any and all parts you need to fix your weapons
-Bring a chair or you will be standing
-Bring some kind of table to work on if you can
-You and you alone will be held responsible for the condition of your weapon
-Bring a death rag to use as a good work surface (keeps those tiny screws from disappearing)
-Bring your own eating utensils
-I may or may not bring a chronograph
Lastly we (Vacceo) will be grilling food, more then likely something cheap and easy (hotdogs). Fill free to bring things you want cooked, or other foods and drinks as well. I may also order pizza (Pizza X). I will provide some plates, cups, & plastic silverware. Donations are very appreciated.
-Those that attended last years event know that I had one large table for everyone to use and a couple chairs. I have also since then added a new wooden "work bench" that is about 8 feet long for you to use as well. But if you have a small table you would like to bring, feel free. There is also a wood stove in the garage so you will be warm, but dress accordingly. Much like at the Circus parking is very limited, so please carpool as much as you can. Thanks.
