Codename: Red Harvest
This event is an IMPACT “Codename” Series Event. Which means it is dedicated and in honor of a particular IAA “veteran” who has in the past positively affected the IAA and helped shape us into what we are today. This is our way to say “thank you”.
It all started Saturday, September 3rd 2005. It took place at Red Dragon Paintball in Hamersville OH. It was early that morning that Harvest rode in a car with two complete strangers (Boogey & Joker) hours from IN to OH to play his first game of airsoft. Airsoft teams FEAR (Solution_Zero & Pointman) and IMPACT caravanned with each other to this event, with Harvest along for the ride of his life. Truth be told with Boogey driving I still don’t know how we made it back alive. After a great day of trading plastic Harvest was hooked on airsoft to say the least. Here is a link to that event years ago: airsoftindiana.proboards.com/ind ... 141&page=1 By the end of September the IAA was created. Harvest was still learning the ropes but was already showing great signs of potential on and off the field. He learned quickly and was already trying to help mentor others and lead by example. The IAA has changed a lot over the years, as has Harvest. Things became very frustrating at times and Harvest even considered walking away from the IAA when it seemed that all the “vets” were doing the same. But instead of giving up he stuck around and has in many ways helped shape the IAA into what we are today. He is a constant reminder of the “old IAA” and with out the past we have no future. I believe because of him (and maybe a few others) we have a good standing as far as airsoft communities go. And we have a positive relationship with Airsoft Ohio (Well until BF6 that is LOL.). Harvest is a well known, liked, and respected airsoft player in AO and the IAA.
On a personal level Harvest and I have became great friends over the years. The above was a very brief description of Harvest’s airsoft career. I have been with him since his day one and almost every step of the way and I could write pages and pages of positive things and stories he and I have shared. He has even helped me a time or two with personal problems I have had in the past. Harvest is far from done pushing the boundaries in the IAA. The best has yet to come. So you more then deserve this IMPACT Tribute event. Thanks for everything man. HORSE FORCE FORWARD!

Background Info:
A large freight of cocaine (and other possible drugs) that is being ran by the Sinaloa Cartel and distributed across the US has suffered a crash in rural Indiana. The DEA has gotten word of the failed attempt of moving the drugs by the Sinaloa Cartel. The DEA has been watching the Cartel for years building their case against them to bring them down, but its time for them to take action. Both Cartel members and DEA operatives are being sent to the crash site. The DEA plans to annihilate the enemy presence while Cartel members attempt to extract the missing cocaine bags and escape capture (and death) by the DEA. This is going to be a war zone.
Special Rules: Make sure you are very familiar with all our rules. There will NOT be a before game briefing. So if you have questions you had better ask an EO before the game begins. IF you are late this game WILL start with out you. Keep in mind that this is a MilSim event!
This event will follow all IMPACT skirmish rules: http://impact_indiana.webs.com/teamhistoryrules.htm
All weapons must shoot at 400FPS and below.
This is a night game, that being said we would prefer if players shot in semi auto as much as possible. They don’t have to but semi auto is highly encouraged due to the darkness.
Knife and Bang kills can be very common during night games, so always keep those options in mind when playing. (Giving or receiving)
All players must have some kind of light source on them at all times; whether that’s a flashlight or glow stick. (Does not have to be on at all times, you just need to have one so you can find your way back to your respawn.)
All players are required to have a red glow stick to replace their death rag at night.
Smoke bombs and Grenades for airsoft will be allowed.
Radios are highly recommended.
Lasers and Tracer Units are highly encouraged and can be purchased from CCAE.
Being a MilSim event you will be expected to follow the orders of your teams CO and follow the chain of command they set up.
Death & Medic Rules:
Both teams will have 1 permanent respawn point.
Both teams will have 2 Medics. Once Medics are chosen they can not be changed.
In order for a Medic to heal a wounded player they must place one hand on the wounded player for 30 seconds. At which point the wounded player has been healed and may return to action.
A wounded player must call their hit loudly and place a red death rag on their head. They can wait for a Medic as long (or little) as they want. Once they are hit they can ONLY say Medic, Hit or Dead. “Dead men tell no tales!”
If a wounded player can not be found by a Medic and wants to return to their teams respawn they my do so. All dead players must wait 5 minutes at their teams respawn before they may reenter combat. Unlimited respawns.
Medics can heal other Medics but can not heal themselves, they must return to spawn.
Camping:
If you wish to camp you must tell me ASAP, so I can make the arrangements. There will be minimal overnight camping for those who do not want to drive home after the game due to its late EndEx. Camping is free of cost. You must provide your own tent and set it up before the start of the game (unless you want to set it up in the dark). Camp fires will NOT be allowed (you will be sleeping in a field that catches fire easily, I speak from experience). Again if you wish to camp send me a PM and I will get you more info.
Players will be added to the roster once I have received payment.
