There will be a skirmish come this Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005 in Western Indianapolis. I'm inviting anyone who can come to this place and if you need a ride and you're anywhere between Bloomington and Indianapolis just PM me and we'll discuss some arrangements.
There should be a good turnout of about 10+ people there so this is one you should try to get to, especially if you live nearby. More information(where, when, etc) will be posted soon. Stay tuned!

Alrighty, heres the details. The skirmish is being hosted by team EMS. The guy running the event is Scott, and his son Tyler. Any rules they put in place are to be respected, naturally. But, as far as base rules, we will be using I.M.P.A.C.T.'s rules (fps/distance/etc.). If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me and I will get in touch with him. The event is to be held in North Salem (west of Indy). As the directions are "complicated", we will be meeting at the gas station on the intersection of State Road 236 and Main St. (US 75). We are to meet at 4 P.M. Mapquest is the best form of directions honestly. If anyone needs help with directions, feel free to contact me. If you get lost, etc., call my cell at 1-219-765-2854. Any other issues that you feel need to be addressed, call me at home at 1-317-899-5882. Hope to see you all there. solution_zero out.

Although it was fairly short for me, it was awesome. Sorry I had to cut out for work. Next time I'll make sure to have the whole night off. Also, next time we should start sooner. We could easily play a whole day on a field that size. That field is HUGE. I'm looking forward to the next event to be held there.
1 quick suggestion- A scenario with a team defending a base in the far back there, or by the creek, that would be awesome. Attacking team would definatley need a man to carry food/ammo. lol.
Anyone who missed out on this skirmish, you owe it to yourself to not miss the next one here. Its truely quite an amazing field. Hope to see you all (and more) there next time. Thanks again to Scott and team EMS.
Afterthought- Maybe next time we can play all day, and if possible, we could camp out there. Driving all the way back sucks after a long day of play.

JUST got home (1:20am).....Sucks for you that you had to leave early...the last two games kicked ass. A LOT shorter and a lot more action.
First game was long...the field is HUGEEE! Like our boonie map (Kinser's)...atleast the size of Springfield, Ohio. 5 on 5 was a bit fast...wish we would have stuck together..then again.. a sniper isn't really that much use in a tactical Delta-style group..
So we chased them around this place that we had no clue on where we were going...a tour of the field should be a requirement for all newbies...because it is that huge.
Finally..they got pinned down by the creekbed. Large skirmish took place...Was slightly even at first..but they took over my sqaud near the end and I went around across the creek in plain sight to snipe them... They were firing at me but falling short. Unfortunately...my shit broke on me...so I put the red flag over my head and said I was out...was a shame too. They were all in plain sight shooting at me and I was perfect distance to shoot at them, but the spring failed. Maybe next time. ANYWAY...we called that match because of a few mechnaical errors and we were down to one person. Gave it to them.
Second match Pointman and Solution had to leave, so we got one of their players. The guy with the GBB and who wasn't matching the rest of their group. Anyway..they set up camp the same place where we saw them for the big skirmish at the first game. Up that hill. So we camp it for a second where they were...and then make our way to the other end of the hill to climb up. We had to pass through that open area too..so we were going double time. Anyway, ...just so happens that they had the same idea, but they split up into two groups in two different locations. So I spot the first one and open fire...lay flat backwards as a pointman should..suppressing fire on the location of the tangos... Just so happens that I guess everyone behind me did the same thing in the open =x and..unfortunately, the other two came out right behind us and took everyone but me out. I managed to escape into a little passage out. ...Just my luck though...I was using Imbel's AUG and...it wasn't filled with BBs. Just had about 15 left. So I dryfired at WIDE OPEN TARGETS IN THE FIELD. It pissed me off. I could have got their whole team out if I had ammo.... they were all gathering near a dead guy to protect him...but didn't see me. Anyway..I ran into the bushes and made some noise..tried to sneak around and tag a couple dead people (if you get hit..you're dead for 10 minutes...if you get tagged..it's 5...) and so I can trade guns or get some ammo. ...They heard the bustling and shot me as soon as I got close. Really quick and fun match.
Next and last match were we finally got to defend. I set them up in an L shaped ambush pattern..Of course..I blew it all away because I was setting off a smoke bomb so they could know the area where we were but not exactly where we were...Anyway..as soon as I was about to throw it..they were at the bottom of the hill and saw me. Was a long time of silence and no movements but just tossing smoke grenades by them. After 5 minutes I move the GBB down to the bottom part of the L right near where they were and moved Imbel back to me. The GBB guy got lit up by all of them. It gave us a good indication of their positions..which is why I sent him down there in the first place. Anyway...we were laughing at the little *POP* *POP* from the GBB and like 4 AEGs firing full auto at him...couldn't hold it in. The night was alive and it was getting dark. Scott, the father of a son in the group, came up and I popped him because of his siloutte against the dirt path next to him. Godlike and I were moving around them..or atleast trying to while I was firing burst from the AUG. Imbel stayed back because most of the fire was directed at him and at the last placement I was at firing from the AUG. Imbel got shot by a flanker from the side I believe...and we(godlike and I) kept moving around them. Anyway..we got pretty close to the bottom of the road and Godlike came rushing back to me and there was a shit load of fire. He didn't get hit but he sprained his ankle...so I told him to call a hit, since he was out of ammo as is with a standard mag. He was basically a bullet shield for me anyway =x So it's me vs the 3 guys in the dark of the woods. I manuever myself backwards and find a little path that connects to the top of the path. I sneak around unnoticed and hear fire where I use to be. I pop the flanker that hit Imbel in the back and he was so confused at what hit him. Changed guns because I was afraid I was running out of ammo again. I go onto the end of the L side of the ambush, but hear the others saying they give up and this sucks etc etc...so I direct my direction of fire towards them...move up...they come out of hiding and into my sights.. Arthur goes first and said he gives up and he calls himself out. The other guys kinda follows him but slightly stays into the shadows. I see him for a second and see him crouch..so I give a nice burst of fire in his direction and nail him. I fire at the dead to make sure there is none alive there.. Then I come slightly out and say "Is there anyone left" and here a "yep" from the dead person. I look around slightly and see a person crouching a bit off of the dead people and I knew Arthur was probably still playing now. Decided if it's a dead person..oh well and shot. Heard the hit and he was wondering how I saw him. The dirt road siluttes your body so nicely. Boogy vs whole sqaud at night. Boogy wins. Arthur was trying to tell me that match didn't mean anything and was stupid. =x He's jsut jealous..we know.
Night part was the best...even though I didn't get to use my APS....was still fun CQB action..and of course...killing a whole sqaud is always nice too. Hope they can come down for the event next 13th/14th...They were really a great bunch of people...organized..all tigerstripe and same gear. looked really professional and put up one hell of a fight. They all had walkies too. A+ imo. Really nice and into airsoft. Great bunch of guys and would love to play with them again. For all those that couldn't/didn't come... You missed out. Was a FUN day of airsoft and I'm sure the next couple matches we have with this same group will be jsut as good if not better!

That GBB kid was a pain in the ass, when we came down that road I KNEW I saw someone and told you to scope, then he jumped on us and me and Zero lit him up, I swear zero had to have put 3-4 bursts on him xD. The ambush was PURE luck, if we had a smoke grenade like them it would have worked out a bit better, or if we had kept running xD. Yeah, it was my wrist and it still hurts, but nothings broken. I'd like to thank Joker and Boogy for the loaner, even if I was dry-firing half the time. It was very exciting and I loved it, hope to play with you all again! BTW: On the river bed, Arthur went full auto on me at 10 ft, that hurt.

BiggDaddy, are you apart of the team we were playing? I'm sorry if I didn't catch any nicknames, all I really remember is the GBB kids name was something like Gabriel and the Father's was Scott. I wish I could have played a round with your team just to see how you guys played.
